Allison Joseph is the author of six collections of poetry: Voices: Poems, Worldly Pleasure, Imitation of Life, Soul Train, In Every Season, and What Keeps Us Here. Joseph is an Associate Professor of English at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, where she also serves as editor for Crab Orchard Review. In addition, Joseph was awarded an Individual Artist's Fellowship in Poetry from the Illinois Arts Council, fellowships from the Bread Loaf and Sewanee Writers Conferences, an Academy of American Poets Prize, a Ruth Lilly Fellowship, and a Literary Award from the Illinois Arts Council. |
